Yankee Candle has appointed an international operations director as part of the expansion of the candle brand’s European operation.
June saw the 200-strong Yankee Candle team move into a new European headquarters in Avonmouth. The move is to accommodate the expansion of the business, and the appointment of Graham Johnson as international operations director is one several new positions created as part of the growth strategy.
Graham Johnson joins following 11 years of experience with supermarket retailer Tesco. During this time Graham spent three years in Malaysia as finance director and the remainder as retail operations director.
Graham Johnson said: “I’m extremely excited to be joining Yankee Candle at this time. The strategy for the growth plans are phenomenal.”
