Satisfied shoppers have rated their top shops in a survey published in the June issue of consumer magazine Which?
For furniture and homeware, Lakeland and John Lewis were the joint highest-rated shops, after finishing first and second in 2011. Morrisons, B&Q and the Garden Centre Group were voted least favourite places. Department stores fared decently, with Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Selfridges, Fenwick and House of Fraser all finishing in the top half of this year’s table.
A total of 11,274 people were surveyed in February and March about the shops they’d used in the previous six months. Shops were rated on price, product range, product quality, service and environment.
Lush was voted top shop overall, with John Lewis and Apple joint second.
