BHETA is to hold a webinar with Retail 100 looking at the current retail market and providing tips for success in 2023. The event will take place on November 1 at 2.30pm and is aimed at ‘unlocking what retailers want in these tough times’.
Retail 100 comprises Elaine Hooper – senior buyer, Anna Berry – head of buying home, Neil Amer – senior merchandiser and Sara Allbright – senior buyer, all formerly working at John Lewis and who collectively have over 100 years of experience in retail. This includes in depth buying and merchandising knowledge of categories including sports, toys, gifts, homeware, tableware, glassware, cookshop, seasonal and beauty.
The organisation is able to advise suppliers large and small on business planning, assortment review, sourcing, customer, brand, on-line and sustainability. This also includes private label product development, licensing, critical path management and innovation and all recommendations are uniquely tailored to each supplier’s situation.
After the presentation, delegates will have the opportunity to pose questions.
Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares and small domestic appliances, said: “It is rare for suppliers to be able to enjoy access to such varied yet detailed experience of working with a major retailer. I am sure that this session will prove beneficial for all parties.”
