Chef Tom Kerridge has launched has a sister show to ‘Saturday Kitchen’, celebrating the best of spring food with celebrity guests and seasonal recipes.

‘Spring Kitchen with Tom Kerridge’ is a 14-episode series which made its debut yesterday (Tuesday April 22) at 3.30pm featuring recipes for crab ravioli with spring onion dressing, courgette flowers stuffed with pistou, pea purée and Manchego cheese, braised turbot in beer with bacon, shallots and peas and white asparagus, parmesan and toasted hazelnuts. Tom was joined by ‘Sherlock’ actress Amanda Abbington and guest chef Jose Pizarro.

Previously head chef at Michelin-starred restaurant Adlard’s in Norwich, Tom also worked at Monsieur Max in Hampton, Odette’s, Rhodes in the Square, Stephen Bull and The Capital.

He is now chef patron of the 2 Michelin-starred pub The Hand and Flowers in Marlow which he has had since 2005. He describes his food as ‘modern British adding new touches and ideas to classic dishes’.
