The deadline for applicants to enter ITV’s now talent show for amateur cooks is one week away: Friday June 29 2012.
Food Glorious Food! is a new ITV1 series from the X Factor boss, searching the country for one very special recipe that people across the UK will, for the first time ever, be able to buy and eat.
The winning dish will earn its owner a cash prize of £20,000 as well as the pride of seeing their dish on the shelves of Marks & Spencer across the country.
Syco TV, a joint venture between Simon Cowell and Sony Music Entertainment, producer of The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, and independent television production company Optomen, producer of The Naked Chef, Great British Menu, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, Heston’s Feast and Mary Portas: Secret Shopper, are working together on this major new prime time commission.
