Dexam has appointed Mimi Sleep as its new sales executive.
Joining Howard Bradley, Bryony Dyer, Joe Leaton and Julie Ashby in the sales team, Mimi’s role will primarily focus on building relationships with existing customers and helping them to grow their sales, while identifying new opportunities.
Before Dexam, Mimi was (and still is) a freelance illustrator and oil painter. She loves to go fishing and uses the fish she catches as inspiration for her recent work. Most of her commissions are album art for musicians and she also paints a lot of contemporary portraiture.
Mimi said: “I hope to bring my sales skills as a freelance artist to Dexam. I’m also an avid baker so selling products that I would genuinely use myself definitely drew me to the role. I’m a bit shaky on cakes and sweet things but I’m very big on bread and pastry! I’m looking forward to working with lots of lovely new people and meeting all of my customers.”
Mimi replaces Michelle Levick who joined Dexam 29 years ago.
Howard Bradley, commercial director, said: “Mimi joins a strong sales team. I’m sure everyone will love her energy and enthusiasm and we’re looking forward to our customers getting to know her. Mimi has been allocated a lot of Michelle’s customers and we will ensure a smooth transition so that they continue to receive the best possible service from Dexam.”
