We are delighted to announce that celebrity chefs The Hairy Bikers will be taking to the stage at The Housewares Innovation Awards 2017 ceremony.
The hirsute pair will be presenting prizes to the winners at the prestigious event, which takes place on the evening of Monday February 6 – during the NEC’s Spring Fair – at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
Working in partnership with Spring Fair, and organised by Housewares Magazine and its digital partner www.HousewaresLive.net, the awards cover the housewares industry’s best products, retailers and individuals.
With their irresistible enthusiasm, Si King and Dave Myers, aka The Hairy Bikers, have become national treasures. Big hearted and down-to-earth with a love of good food, they have been cooking together for more than 20 years.They are not only the stars of several hit television shows but are the UK’s most popular cookery writing duo, penning 15 books to date.
The twosome has now teamed up with distributor Europasonic to create the Hairy Biker World collection of housewares.
The range includes a food processor, stand mixer, health grill, juicer, mincer, soup maker, blender, 2-piece pressed aluminium frying pan set, 5-piece pressed aluminium cookware set, retro mechanical scale, cake tin, roasting pan, 20cm ceramic frying pan, 28cm ceramic frying pan and a 30cm wok.
Europasonic will be sponsoring the award ceremony’s champagne reception from 6pm, where the Hairy Bikers World range will be on view. The products will be demonstrated by kitchenware expert Malcolm Harradine before and after the awards dinner.
The Hairy Bikers themselves will be putting the products through their paces at various intervals on Monday February 6 on The Housewares Innovation Awards stand at the Spring Fair.
