Now in their sixth year, the annual Housewares Conference & Innovation Awards will return to Wokefield Park in Berkshire on Wednesday April 22 2015.

Housewares Innovation Awards 2015: open for entries!

Organised by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net, the Conference offers the opportunity to hear insightful, interesting, informative and inspiring presentations from some of the industry’s biggest names. It will be followed in the evening by a glittering awards ceremony to recognise the achievements of those businesses that continue to inject new energy and innovation into the housewares industry.

Special guests at the Housewares Conference include celebrity chef Ken Hom. Delegates will have the chance to meet Ken at the DKB Household UK stand during the day where he will be discussing his range of cookware and signing copies of his recipe book.

Ken will also be presenting winners with their awards at the Housewares Innovation Awards ceremony held in the evening. Categories will remain the same as last year: Cookware & Bakeware, Small Electricals, Food Preparation, Kitchenware and Tabletop. There is also a Kitchen Hero Award which is sponsored by www.HousewaresLive.net and Housewares Magazine and decided by the judging panel.

Clare Turner Editor In Chief of Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net, said, “The Awards are designed to reward and recognise the people, products and companies that drive the industry forward. I can’t wait to see this year’s entries; the quality in previous years has been fantastic.”

Event director Hannah Dedman commented on the success of previous events: “Now a firmly established event on the industry’s calendar, the Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards are a great opportunity for retailers and suppliers to get together. I have no doubt that we will put on a superb occasion for the industry.”

Laurie Marrington, sales manager of Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net, added: “Past sponsors have found the event a key way to reach a highly targeted and engaged audience by putting themselves in front of key buyers and industry figures. I am looking forward to working with new and old sponsors, without whom the event wouldn’t be possible.” Laurie can be contacted on 07903 712102.
