Housewares man launches new export consultancy

Flex Homeware (International) aims to get them “ready for exporting” – a key tool to profit in these difficult economic times, according to company founder Faysal Marsaoui.

Marsaoui, who has over 20 years’ international sales experience with Meyer Prestige and most recently with La Cafetiere, where he was responsible for establishing and overseeing new markets worldwide for the company, says international trade is now a necessity for the majority of businesses.

“But,” he told HousewaresLive.net, “often companies aren’t sure where their products should be sold in certain markets or at what price, while filtering and prioritising leads for those companies who have started on export can be time-consuming and non-productive.”

The Flex offer includes selecting the right partners and distribution channel for a company, whether through a distributor’s network or on a direct retail basis, and, for established exporters, identifying where improvements or wholly new business can be made.

.

“I’ve spent more than 20 years in international sales, mostly in housewares, so I’m well-placed to identify opportunities for companies who perhaps haven’t quite made it yet,” said Marsaoui. “It’s an extremely exciting prospect to bring that knowledge and those contacts to the market.”
