The Exclusively Housewares show enjoyed a dash of glamour this year when celebrity Jane Asher popped in to promote a new range of cookery kits in collaboration with Kitchen Craft.
The actress and baker made an appearance on Kitchen Craft’s stand to launch the new Jane Asher Baking Gift Sets.
“I love cooking and baking” explained Jane, “but I like it to be easy and fun. These clever kits are really simple to use and will give your dishes a professional looking finish”.
The new range, which comes under the Sweetly Does It brand, comprises a 16-piece Whoopie Pie kit, a 17-piece Chocolate kit, a 16-piece Mini Pastries kit and two 9-piece Food Preparation kits, each of which includes a recipe booklet / ‘how to’ guide.
Meanwhile, David Mason Design was offering ‘Champagne & Cakes’ to mark its 50th anniversary of being in business and Brabantia was busy filming visitor reactions to their new personalised ‘graffiti’ bins.
The show was held from June 12-13 at London’s Business Design Centre. The 2013 event wil be held at the same venue from June 11-12.
