Tefal has launched its first ever collection of food storage containers in the UK.
Designed to keep food fresher for longer – and make storing, serving and moving food easier – the Tefal MasterSeal range consists of four collections: Fresh, To Go, Micro and Glass.
All four ranges feature a freshness seal billed as unique, and carry a 30-year guarantee. Each container is claimed to be 100% leak-proof, 100% hygienic and 100% BPA-free.
The Tefal MasterSeal Fresh range is described as the most versatile. It can be used for storing food in the cupboard, fridge or freezer or taking on the go. The plastic containers feature a bright blue seal, approved by the Institute for Sustainable Food and Nutritional Sciences, which guarantees to keep the contents two times fresher than the food’s original packaging.
The range includes rectangular, square and round boxes in various sizes as well as a three- and five-piece set, a mixing jug and an ice cube tray. The items are microwave-safe, dishwasher safe and frost-resistant.
The Tefal MasterSeal To Go range is suitable for those that take lunch to work. Selected boxes are built with removable inserts to separate different foods, such as the salad bowl which features compartments for leaves, proteins and a dressing. The range comprises lunch, brunch, snack and sandwich boxes as well as a yoghurt box and salad bowl. All are microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe and frost-resistant.
The Tefal MasterSeal Micro range features a selection of plastic red containers, designed in this colour to avoid food discolouration which can spoil clear containers. The lids are equipped with an integrated valve for microwave use, so the user can heat food without needing to remove the lid. The items are dishwasher- and freezer-friendly.
The Tefal MasterSeal Glass range is made with an extra temperature-resistant borosilicate glass base resistant to discolouration. The items are microwave-proof and oven-proof up to 420 degrees (without the MasterSeal freshness lid) – so the user can cook and then serve straight to the table, store for later or take them to work. The range comes in various square and rectangle sizes and is freezer- and dishwasher-safe.
