Attention all small electricals suppliers and retailers: the deadline for entries to The Innovative Electrical Retailing (IER) Awards is November 3, so don’t delay!
Now in its 23rd year, The IER Awards (formerly The Independent Business Awards) is designed to reward and celebrate the achievements of independent electrical retailers, manufacturers and suppliers over the past 12 months.
The evening ceremony takes place on March 12 2015 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington. The night will be compered by industry favourite Richard Stevenson, followed by after-dinner speaker and comedian Ian Irving.
“With its exciting new venue, the IER Awards 2015 promises to be the best event yet!” said special projects and events manager Linda Dorling of organiser Datateam Business Media, which publishes IER magazine and sister website www.innovativeelectricalretailing.co.uk. “With a prestigious pedigree of 22 previous awards ceremonies, the IER Awards is acknowledged as the original awards event which brings the whole of the industry together at a single location. The 2014 Awards were a resounding success, with industry members enjoying a casino-themed evening of glitz, glamour and fun – and this year is set to be even better!”
Entries are open online at www.ierawards.co.uk and you can nominate yourself for as many categories as you are relevant for. The categories for suppliers and retailers of small electricals include Best Advertising Campaign, Technical Innovation Award, Eco/Energy Saving Award, Best Training Award, Best Independent Retailer, Best Independent Website, Best Independent Showroom and Best Customer Service Award.
