Paul Shelley, md of Stoke on Trent based housewares supplier Haus Marketing & Distribution, would like to thank you everyone who supported him on his first ever marathon.
He took part in the Potteries Marathon on Sunday July 5 and completed the 26.2 mile distance in four hours and nine minutes which, he said, ”was roughly where I expected to be despite never running that far before”.
As of today (July 20), Paul’s effort has raised a total of £1,271 for the mental health charity MIND (which comfortably exceeds his target of £1,000, by 127%).
“Thank you once for your sponsorship and your kind messages,” he said. “The legs are still aching – and I am stupidly planning another next year!”
