Price’s Candles was voted ‘Best Display Stand’ at Home Hardware’s Convention Trade Show, held on November 15 at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel in Dorset.
The accolade earned the company’s national sales manager Chris Adams and sales agent Michael Hollings a cash prize of £100 and a plaque.
Dave Gosling and Gordon Griffiths of housewares distributor Eddingtons received the runner-up prize of £50.
A total of 49 exhibitors attended the mini trade show and the awards were judged by an independent panel and presented by David Adams, chairman of Home Hardware.
The judges agreed that as well as having ‘a very attractive, colourful, well merchandised’ stand, Prices Candles staff demonstrated ‘excellent product knowledge and enthusiasm’ for their new ranges.
David Adams said: “This Trade Show is the perfect start to our Convention weekend. It’s in everyone’s interest that suppliers take pride in their stands – and Price’s Candles’ hard work didn’t go unnoticed.”
