British homewares brand ReBorn has expanded its bathroom portfolio with the launch of a new collection of shower caddies, now available at John Lewis.

Designed and manufactured in Britain, the three-piece collection combines handcrafted, corrosion-resistant stainless steel with recycled plastic components made using waste collected and processed by ReBorn partner Biffa.

Brian Walmsley, Founder of ReBorn, said: “Shower caddies are the definition of a product nobody thinks about until it rusts, sags or falls off the wall.

“We wanted something that actually looks good in a bathroom, lasts, and gives people a proper choice – drill it in for good, or hook it over the screen and you’re done in seconds. Every gram of plastic in it has already had one life. Now it’s got a second.”

The range comprises a Single Tier Shower Caddy, a Two Tier Shower Caddy, and a Two Tier Hook Over Shower Caddy at £99.99.

Both the single and two-tier wall-mounted designs use screw-in fixings, while the hook-over model provides a drill-free alternative that can be fitted over a shower screen.

Across the collection, features include draining trays designed to help keep bottles dry, stainless steel rails to hold products securely, integrated accessory hooks and removable components for easier cleaning.

The recycled plastic elements are manufactured in Wiltshire, with ReBorn citing independent lifecycle analysis by Brunel University which found its recycled-plastic components produce 79% lower carbon emissions than equivalent virgin-plastic components imported from the Far East.
