To celebrate the 30th anniversary its knife brand Global, housewares supplier Grunwerg has joined forces with the Roux Scholarship to create exclusive recipe videos from the winning scholars.
The Roux Scholarship is a competition for chefs under 30 who are working as chefs in the UK. Launched by the Roux family of chefs 31 years ago, the winning prize is a three-month stay at any 3 Michelin star restaurant in the world (all expenses paid).
Global knives have had an extensive relationship with the Roux family ever since they launched the Roux Scholarship and, as one of their biggest sponsors, supports the Scholars every year in their battle to win the top prize.
Twelve of the Scholarship winners have been filmed cooking a chosen recipe using one of their favourite Global knives. A different video will be uploaded each month in 2015 to show the knife skills and recipes that the Scholars have conjured up.
