Family company, Samuel Lamont & Sons Ltd has joined BHETA.

Manufacturing and supplying a wide range of household textiles for almost 200 years, it was founded in 1830 by the man whose name it bears. One of Northern Ireland’s foremost linen weavers, it diversified during the 1950’s into textile printing and terry towel manufacturing. It gained the Royal Warrant both for retailing and for the supply of bed linen.
Today, the company still manufactures in Ireland but also supplements its ranges with the very best sourced items from abroad giving it a truly global personality. It supplies a wide range of bed linen, table linen, bath items, gifts, tea towels, and kitchen items including oven-gloves, aprons, kitchen towels, tea cosies. There is also a range of homewares such as cushions and doorstops.
Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares, said: “Samuel Lamont is an historic brand with iconic status in its field. It is also expanding its beautiful range and I’m delighted that the company is joining BHETA.”
