Smeg and Co-operative Electrical get creative

Appliance manufacturer Smeg brought a touch of Italian flair to the north-west this week as it joined forces with Co-operative Electrical to host an interactive campaign at the retailer’s new central Manchester HQ.

Smeg and Co-operative Electrical get creative

For the two-day event, staff and customers were invited to don a variety of 1950s inspired retro accessories and strike a pose behind the wheel of a yellow FAB Smeg500 Fiat drinks cooler in an Italian Job styled set, complete with a trio of colourful Smeg FAB fridge-freezers.

As well as a photograph to take away, participants were able to chat to members of the Smeg team on hand to provide further information about the brand, while also having the chance to win a 1950s-style FAB28 fridge.

Smeg brand manager John Davies said: “The campaign was a great success and a fantastic way for both Smeg and Co-op Electrical to engage with customers in a fun and creative way. We hope everyone who took part enjoyed it as much as we did and learnt a little more about our extensive range of design-led appliances.”
