T&G Woodware has joined the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA), bringing more than 50 years of experience in the kitchenware, tableware and catering sectors to the association.
Now part of Lincolnshire-based JIG UK Ltd, T&G Woodware continues to operate under its established brand, with woodware remaining at the heart of its product portfolio.
Founded in 1975, the business began with a small collection of pinewood kitchen products imported from Portugal. It expanded rapidly and, by 1979, offered what it described as the largest range of domestic woodware in the UK.
Today, T&G’s range includes chopping boards, platters, utensils and storage products, alongside its established collection of salt, pepper and spice mills.
The company also supplies the hospitality sector through a dedicated catering range, including serving boards, buffet displays and table caddies.
Welcoming the company to BHETA, Claire Smith, Sector Manager for Housewares & SEA, said: “It’s great to welcome T&G Woodware to BHETA. After more than five decades in the industry, it’s a brand name many of us will recognise from our own kitchens, and we’re looking forward to supporting their continued growth.”
BHETA said T&G Woodware will be able to connect with the wider housewares industry through the association’s networking, industry insight and business development opportunities.
