The organisers of the Ambiente trade show surprised Patrick Gardner, managing director of T&G Woodware, by presenting him with a chocolate cake in a shape of a heart to celebrate his company’s milestone birthday.
T&G Woodware is celebrating 40 years in the housewares industry in 2015. Established in 1975, T&G is well known for its preparation and presentation boards including FSC; CrushGrind salt, pepper and spice mills; and its vintage and retro ceramic ranges. Last year it also collaborated with designer Sophie Conran to launch the Sophie Conran for T&G range of boards. All T&G products are designed in Britain.
The housewares supplier has supported Ambiente for many years and has exhibited there for a long time. A total of 4,811 exhibitors from 94 countries showed their latest products on 328,500 square metres (gross) at this year’s show. The event, which occupies the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre, ran from February 13 to February 17
