Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
Thirteen housewares suppliers, ranging from big brands to small entrepreneurs, have been named as the winners of the second annual IHA [International Housewares Association] Innovation Awards.
The winners in each of 13 categories were announced on the first day of the 2013 International Home + Housewares Show, which was held from March 2-5 in Chicago.
The winners are:

-Cleaning category: Browne USA, Magnetic Spot Scrubber;
-Cook + Bakeware category: global Marketing / Woll Cookware USA., Concept Plus;
-Floor + Carpet Care category: Oreck Corp., VersaVac Full Size Bagless Vaccum & Steam Mop;
-Home Décor + Gifts category: Bella Vita Gift Bags, Bottle Net;
-Home Organization + Storage category: Trash-Ease, Trash-Ease;
-Household Electrics + Home Environment category: ECOVACS Robotics, Inc., WINBOT;
-Kitchen Electrics category: Jura Capresso, Inc., GIGA 5;
-Kitchen Hand Tools + Cutlery category: iSi North America, Inc., iSi Basics Flex~it Measuring Spoon Set;
-Kitchenware category: Chef’n Corporation, Pull’n Slice Mandoline;
-Personal Care + Home Healthcare category: Blue Anatomy Limited, Wireless Body Scale;
-Pet Products category: Pioneer Pet Products, LLC, Raindrop Drinking Fountain, Stainless Steel;
-Tabletop category: Solvetta LLC, FlatBox-LunchBox by Solvetta.
IHA president Phil Brandl said: “Congratulations to these winners. They are excellent representatives of the cutting-edge innovation and creation happening in the housewares industry.
He continued: “Based on the efforts of these and other design-focused companies in our industry, consumers are able to fill their homes with innovative products that meet their individual needs and varied lifestyles.”
More than 400 products were entered in the IHA Innovation Awards competition.
The 2013 International Home + Housewares Show featured 2,137 exhibitors, including 500 new companies, and attracted 60,000 total attendees from around the globe.
