Eddingtons’ Progressive collapsible salad spinner has won a Red Dot award.

Receiving more than 11,000 entries from over 60 countries, Red Dot is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. The 2010 award-winning products, including the salad spinner, will be put before an international public at the Red Dot Design Museum in Germany.
The salad spinner collapses for compact storage and cleaning to take up half the normal amount of space. It features a self-retracting pull cord to make washing and drying fruit and vegetables quick and easy, and a brake mechanism in the lid stops the spinning basket with the push of a button.
The spinner also beat 300 entrants to win gold for the Best of the Best at the 2010 US Housewares Design Awards.
